Your best people are professional readers.
Credit agreements, borrower packages, submissions, participant files, medical records. They arrive faster than anyone can read them, and the reading falls to the most expensive judgment in the building. Every day a document waits, a decision waits with it.
- A working system on your documents inside 30 days, or we stop and the remainder is never billed
- Six to eight weeks, fixed fee, success metric written into the SOW
- A few hours a week from your best analyst; everything runs in your environment
- Last time this was built the underwriting cycle got 33% faster
Where this runs: private credit & specialty finance and life, annuity & pension risk transfer.
Fifty million pages, one operation.
Built end to end inside a multi billion dollars asset manager. Deals were heavily driven by files of 2,000 to 3,000 pages, most arriving as paper. Underwriters got a risk review screen organized the way they think, and stopped being extractors. The agent team below is the successor design to that program.
An agent team reads the file. Your expert decides the disagreements.
Indexing agent maps the file first: what is in these 2,000 pages, and where.
Specialist agents read in parallel, each for its own domain. For a credit file: agreement, amendments, financials, collateral. For medical records we designed eleven, one per body system.
Reconciliation agent hunts for where they disagree. The disagreements are exactly what your expert reviews; everything else arrives sourced to the page.
What makes it safe is unglamorous. A golden-set eval before it touches a live decision, a person at the gate, and the model-risk memo that shows an auditor how an output became a decision.
Six to eight weeks, with a gate at thirty days.

What document types?
Anywhere an expert currently reads and re-keys: credit agreements, loan tapes, insurance submissions, IMAs and side letters, participant data, medical records.
What accuracy should we expect?
We will not quote a number before seeing your documents. Anyone who does is guessing. The sprint’s first deliverable is a measured baseline on a validation set you helped label.
LLMs or traditional extraction?
Whichever wins on your documents, and it is usually a mix: deterministic where the structure allows it, language models where the language requires it, people where the judgment demands it.
What does the sprint cost?
Fixed fee, quoted before work starts, sized to the document type and volume. The entry point for firms that want the number first is the AI Value Diagnostic, from $15,000, waived if it does not identify value worth ten times the fee. The sprint carries its own guarantee: a working system inside 30 days or we stop and the remainder is never billed.
